From August 12th - August 19th, 2007, I will guide your creative journey during a 6-night, 5-day immersion workshop. With only 9 participants, the opportunities for intimacy, play and growth in this creative adventure are unparalleled. Soak in the natural enchantment and transformative light of the Savoie region, luxuriate in one of the oldest renovated historical sites in all of France, and bask in personal attention. 

COST & WHAT'S INCLUDED:

The all-inclusive price (except for airfare) is $4,250. This includes:  the 6-night 5-day stay; three specially catered meals beginning with a daily continental breakfast as well as wine, beverages and snacks, lunch and dinner; transportation to and from the Lyon airport; a guided tour of Fortress de Miolans where the Marquis de Sade was imprisoned -- and escaped! There are laundry facilities on the property, and a daily cleaning crew who will make beds and clean rooms daily. There will be two workshop meetings/day. I will also provide two personal coaching sessions with each participant, to work out a plan for your future writing and to clarify and expand your individual goals as a writer.

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?
This retreat is designed for all writers -- beginning to advanced -- who want to venture into new territory and create, or at least begin, new work. It is also a good opportunity for those eager to stretch or cross the boundaries of genre -- fiction writers who want to tell the truth; nonfiction writers who want to learn to lie; poets who want to try prose; prose writers curious about playwriting; screenwriters, actors and filmmakers looking to capture stories on the page; and novices primed for adventure.

COSTS:

$3,500. Airfare, which is approximately $500 roundtrip from LAX to Honolulu, is not included. However, van transport from the airport to the house is provided. Three healthy meals a day are also included, as well as the 6-night, 5-day stay.
